Covid – 19
Elderly people are the most vulnerable to the novel Coronavirus due to their low immunity and underlying health issues. They constitute over 50% of all infected cases and mortality(death) rate of all victims. The elderly and poor face worsened economic conditions due to the lockdown protection measures imposed by government and the negative impact on the people who could support them.
Project Goal:
The goal of the campaign is to contribute to protecting 50 elderly poor people who lack financial capacity to buy basic immune boosting supplements, protective items and other needs.
Target Amount:
GHC12,500 Ghana CEDI’s or
US Dollars $2500.
How the Money will be used/Spent:
A package for each of the 50
beneficiaries will include:
1. 1000mg Vitamin-C Daily supplement fortified with Zinc for 60 days.
2. Hand sanitizer
3. Tissue papers
4. Nose Masks
5. A stipend of GH¢100 to enable the
person buy some of his/her needs.
