Board of Directors

Dr. Muntari Mahama

Board Chairman

He is a Chartered Accountant (ICA, Gh) and a Lecturer in Taxation, Accounting and Finance at Tamale Technical University, Tamale. He chairs number of committees and boards in the nonprofit and academic institutions.  In private service, he is a consultant in business development and finance. 

Dr. Grace Abena Bowu

Vice Board Chairperson

She chairs the committee on development programmes of the foundation. She is an accomplished development professional having worked in various leadership capacities in the non-profit sector over fifteen years. She holds a PhD degree in Political Economy.

Richard Sepaga

Board Secretary & Treasurer

He is an Educationist and a teacher, a member of Knights of St. John International and a Youth Coach and Mentor. Richard has over 20 years experience in community voluntary service in various fields.  He holds a Master degree in Mentorship.

Alice Bavugu Ewuntomah

Board Member

Principal Nursing Officer and teacher in the health sector. She is a member of the executive board of the Foundation. She serves on the Development Programmes sub-committee of the Board. She advices the board the health initiatives of the Foundation.

Eric Kavaapur

Board Member

Eric is a seasoned development professional who has served in the nonprofit sector in more than two decades. He holds a MSc. Development Policy and Planning degree. Eric is an associate member of the board serving on Development programmes Sub-committee. He is currently the head of the consulting unit of the University of Mines and Energy, Tarkwa, Ghana

Habib Haruna

Chief Executive Officer & Board Member

Habib Haruna is the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. He is responsible for coordinating the strategic direction of the foundation and supervising the implementation of the strategies of the Foundation. He holds a Commonwealth Executive MBA Degree. He is an International Fellow of the Emerging Leaders International Fellows Programme (2020) of the Centre for Philanthropy and Civil Society, City University of New Your, USA

Christian Bayelling Batoumou

Board Member

He is an accomplished Information Technology (IT) professional in Tamale. Christian is responsible for the development and proper functioning of the ICT platforms and infrastructure of the foundation. He is currently the Vice Principal Academic of New Life College based in Tamale. He is also the founder and CEO of Euphoria Technologies, an IT company operating in the northern region.  He holds a Master Degree in IT.

Dr. Kilu Rufai Haruna

Board Member

Gender Specialist in the area of Gender and Technology and also serves as a faculty member and head of consultancy unit of Department of Business Administration, University of Professional Studies, and Accra. Rufai is an Associate Member of the Board of PTSIF and serves on the Development  Sub-committee.

Ussif Mohammed Hamis

Board Member

Economist, a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and former Banker. Currently, he is a senior management professional in the Oil and Gas sector. He worked at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs as the Macroeconomist, in charge of various projects including the Multi-Donor Support programme. He also worked with Intelligent Giving, a company limited by guarantee that appraises the performance and ranking of charities in London, where he contributed to developing the criteria for the appraisal of Charities, and reviewed the performance, of over 100 charities. He holds MSc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Habib Haruna

Chief Executive Officer

Habib Haruna is the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. He is responsible for coordinating the strategic direction of the foundation and supervising the implementation of the strategies of the Foundation. He holds a Commonwealth Executive MBA Degree. Yussif Abdul Basit

Accounts and Administration Officer

Mr. Yussif Abdul Basit is in Charge of the Accounts and Administration Functions of the Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bank and Finance from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Ghana.

Dauda Hajia Khadija

Director of Programmes

Responsible for coordinating programmes of the foundation and implementation of the programmes an d projects of the foundation.  She is an expert in Livelihoods and Gender mainstreaming. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Integrated Development Studies from University for Development Studies, Ghana and an MSc Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition Security from Van Hall Laresten University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. She has managed project portfolios in a number of Non-profit Organizations.

Abdallah Alhassan

Project Officer

He is a project officer in charge of livelihoods, business development and social projects. He coordinates activities community volunteers of the Foundation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He also has over 15years experience in community development work

Pure Trust Social Investors Foundation (PTSIF) is a charity registered at the Registrar General’s Department (RGD) in accordance with the Companies ACT, 1963, ACT 179 of Ghana as a Company Limited by Guarantee. Its Business registration Number is CG108362014 and Tax Identification Number (TIN) is C0003674754. It is regulated as a National non-profit organization by the Department of Social Welfare of Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection by certificate of Recognition number 6427 as its Charity Number.
